Draughtsman
Responsibilities
- Create various accurate technical drawings by adhering to various specifications and calculations. Including but not limited to handle all detailing and construction drawings.
- Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with AutoCAD software.
- Communicating with architects and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
- Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside with relevant team
- Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations (safety and structural standards).
- Identify and communicate potential design problems to the rest of the team, including briefing important details to carpentry suppliers
- To resolve design related issues at all stages with project managers and vendors.
- Site visits to ensure projects are developed according to specification and requirement.
- Present rough design drafts for clients’ approval.
Job Qualification & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or equivalent with at least 4-5 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in ID construction works
- Plus point will be given to candidate who has excellent knowledge in furniture technical specifications
- Required skills: AutoCAD (Advance level) software, 2D/3D drawings
- Able to work under pressure and deliver within committed deadlines
- Able to work independently / with minimum supervision
- Meticulous and well-organized with a proven ability to multitask within a timeline.
- Excellent communication / presentation skills.
- Willingness to take criticism and be self-critical.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and manage daily tasks for self and junior staff.
- Solution-driven.
- Experience in managing projects from concept to completion.
